விஜய் நடிக்கும் வேலாயுதம் படத்துக்கு, அனைவரும் பார்க்கக் கூடிய படம் என யு சான்றிதழ் அளித்துள்ளனர்.

 

விஜய் - ஜெனிலியா, ஹன்ஸிகா, சந்தானம், சரண்யா மோகன் நடிப்பில், ஜெயம் ராஜா இயக்கத்தில் உருவாகியுள்ள வேலாயுதம் படத்தை, ஆஸ்கர் ரவிச்சந்திரன் தயாரித்துள்ளார்.

 

இந்தப் படம் வரும் தீபாவளிக்கு பிரமாண்டமாக வெளியாகிறது. படத்தை தணிக்கைக் குழுவினருக்கு நேற்று திரையிட்டுக் காட்டினர். படத்தைப் பார்த்த பிறகு, நல்ல பொழுதுபோக்குப் படமாக இருப்பதாகக் கூறிய அதிகாரிகள், படத்தில் சண்டைக் காட்சிகளில் மட்டும் சில வெட்டுக்களைக் கொடுத்தனர். பின்னர் அனைவரும் பார்க்கக் கூடிய படம் என யு சான்று அளித்தனர்.

 

இந்தப் படம் திங்களன்றுதான் சென்சாருக்கு திரையிடுவதாக இருந்தது. ஆனால் உள்ளாட்சித் தேர்தல் காரணமாக, நேற்றே திரையிடப்பட்டுவிட்டது.

 

தீபாவளிக்கு ஒரு நாள் முன்பாகவே வேலாயுதம் அரங்குகளுக்கு வருகிறது.

After vacation, Vijay gets back to business

 

Vijay recently came back to Chennai after a brief vacation in Dubai. He went to Dubai to unwind after the grueling schedules for Velayutham and Nanban are over. Both the movies are close to getting wrapped up and will be released this year.
With back-to-back movie releases, Vijay is also busy discussing about his next project with AR Murugadoss. The director, who recently finished 7aum Arivu to be released for Diwali, is discussing the script and other details with Vijay. An official announcement on the movie's commencement date is expected soon.

Velayutham will be screened in 38 screens all over Chennai, reports a source in Kollywood. This Vijay starrer has created a lot of expectations and the report that it has got 38 screens in the city has the star's fans in a complete sense of satisfaction.
Velayutham's release date has been announced to be 26^th October, which happens to be Diwali. The film is surely going to turn out to be a treat to all Vijay fans worldwide. In Velayutham, Genelia and Hansika share the screen space with the star. The film has been directed by Jayam Raja.

Vijay’s Velayudham to be Genelia’ swan-song in Kollywood?

Actress Genelia D'Souza recently got engaged to Ritesh Deshmukh, a Bollywood actor and the son of Union Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh. Though they had been seeing each other for the past few years, they had always been denying that they were madly in love with each other. The couple got engaged at Deshmukh's Mumbai residence last week.

Genelia is a busy star in Hindi films and recently had her Hindi film opposite John Abraham releasing and hitting the bull's eye at the box-office. The Goan girl, who is awaiting the release of her latest Tamil film Velayudham on Deepavali eve, is likely to quit acting in films after her marriage to Ritesh, which is likely to take place early next year.

She has been approached by Simbudevan, who made Imsai Arasanum 23-m Pulikesiyum with Vadivelu in the lead, to do a film for him. She is likely to be paired up opposite Dhanush in that film titled Maareesan. If she agrees to that, it might be her last film but as such, she hasn't given any commitment about starring in the film so far.

Sources close to the actress say that she is likely to complete her present pending films in Hindi and tie the nuptial knot with Ritesh in February, 2012!
