More Demand for Velayutham

 

 

In spite of other big releases, producer Aascar Ravichandran managed to get bigger and more screens across Tamil Nadu and other areas for his Diwali release 'Velayutham'. Released on October 25, the film has lived up to the expectations of not just Vijay fans, but has attracted the family audiences.

With a longer weekend still going on, the theatre owners and exhibitors have demanded for additional prints of the film. Across the states of Kerala and Karnataka, the fans circle for Vijay has increased than the usual limits. The repeat audiences in Kerala are rushing into the theatres to watch it again and again.

Well, it's worth mentioning that Kerala audiences have welcomed even his films like 'Sura' and 'Velayutham' has become a huge hit over there.

Vijay Turns Spy for Gautham Menon's Yohan

 

 

Vijay was seen in the role of milkman-turned-vigilante in recently released Velayudham. The actor, who has received a good response from the critics as well as audience, is gearing up to don yet another new avatar. The Gilli star, who signed Gautham Menon's Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru a few months ago, will be enacting the role of James Bond in the forthcoming Tamil movie.

According to sources, Yohan is inspired by James Bond films. Vijay will be performing the role of a spy, says a source. It is reported that the movie is a remake of French movie Largo Winch and the first look of the film gave a clear indication about the upcoming movie being a copy of the 2008 film. It is also said that the Tamil movie will be shot in New York and Chennai.

Gautham Menon directorial Yohan has AR Rahman's music and Manoj Paramahamsa's cinematography. The forthcoming Tamil movie will hit the floors in mid-2012.

ஹன்ஸிகா ஏதோ இப்போதுதான் ப்ரஷ்ஷாக பீல்டுக்கு வந்தது போலத் தெரிந்தாலும், உண்மையில் அவர் 5 ஆண்டுகள் 'பழைய' நடிகை!

இதிலும் அவருக்கு பெரிய வேடம் என்று சொல்ல முடியாது. முக்கிய வேடத்தை ஜெனிலியா செய்தாலும், ரசிகர்களை தூண்டில் போட்டு இழுக்கும் கவர்ச்சி நாயகியாக வந்தார் ஹன்சிகா. இந்த கவர்ச்சி ஒளிவெள்ளத்தில் ஜெனிலியா மங்கிப் போனார்.

ஆனால் என் அம்மா, நண்பர்கள் பார்த்துவிட்டு ஓஹோ என்று பாராட்டினார்கள்.

 

இந்தப்படத்தின் விமர்சனங்களைப் படித்துவருகிறேன் (ஜெயிச்சாதான் படிப்பீக போல!). என்னை இந்த அளவு திறமையாக பயன்படுத்திய ஜெயம் ராஜா, விஜய்க்கு எப்படி நன்றி சொல்வதென்றே தெரியவில்லை.

அடுத்து உதயநிதியுடன் ஒரு கல் ஒரு கண்ணாடி, சிம்புவுடன் வேட்டை மன்னன் படங்களில் நடித்து வருகிறார் ஹன்ஸிகா. இவை இரண்டுமே நிச்சயம் வெற்றிப் படங்கள் என்கிறார் உறுதியாக.

Vijay - Danush to clashes again for Pongal

 

 

This isn't something new, but a process over the years. Perhaps, it's a mere coincidence as the films of Vijay and Dhanush have clashed several times in the box office, especially for the festive occasion of Pongal.
Three years back, it was Villu Vs Padikadhavan that was released on January 14. However both the films received lukewarm response disappointing the fans.

This year 2011, it was Aadukalam and Kaavalan that won critical acclaims and yielded best results for producers as well.

The forthcoming Pongal is not gonna be an exception as the actors will continue to clash with their films. If what we heard from the trade circles is believed to be true then Dhanush's upcoming movie '3' directed by his wife Aishwarya will hit screens on January 14, 2012. Shankar's 'Nanban' starring Vijay, Jeeva and Srikanth is already confirmed for the same occasion as the paper ads have already confirmed it as 'Pongal is Well'.

Speculations that Vijay is appearing in a song donning up as Rajini and Kamal in Nanban seem to be unsubstantiated. A source close to director Shankar denied such scenes saying that there is no basis for such rumors.

However, it's true that the film's lead Vijay and Ileana are appearing in four different garbs presumably as a tribute to the famous film stars in the industry. But we will only get to know about that when the movie releases.

விஜய் நடிப்பில் தீபாவளி தினத்தன்று வெளிவந்த படம் 'வேலாயுதம்'. ஜெயம் ராஜா இயக்க, ஆஸ்கார் ரவிச்சந்திரன் தயாரித்து வெளியிட்டார்.

'ஏழாம் அறிவு' படத்துடன் 'வேலாயுதம்' படம் போட்டியிட்டது. ஏழாம் அறிவு படம் ஆயிரத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட தியேட்டர்களிலும், 'வேலாயுதம்' 800க்கும் மேற்பட்ட தியேட்டர்களிலும் வெளியிடப்பட்டது.

'ஏழாம் அறிவு' நேற்று வரை ( அக்டோபர் 31 ) 40.25 கோடியும், 'வேலாயுதம்' 40 கோடியும் வசூல் செய்துள்ளன. குறைந்த தியேட்டர்களில் வெளியிட்டாலும் 40 கோடி வசூல் செய்ததால் விஜய் மிகுந்த சந்தோஷத்தில் இருக்கிறார்.

விஜய் இதற்காக தனது வீட்டில் ஜெயம் ராஜா, ஜெயம் ரவி, விஜய் ஆண்டனி உள்ளிட்ட படக்குழுவினருக்கு விருந்து அளித்தார். சென்னையில் உள்ள கமலா திரையரங்கில் இரண்டு அரங்கத்திலும் 'ஏழாம் அறிவு' படத்தினை திரையிட்டு இருந்தார்கள். இன்று முதல் அதில் ஒரு அரங்கில் 'ஏழாம் அறிவு'க்கு பதிலாக 'வேலாயுதம்' திரையிட்டு இருக்கிறார்கள்.

இரண்டாம் வாரத்தில் நிறைய தியேட்டர்களில் 'வேலாயுதம்' படத்தினை திரையிட முன்வந்ததை அடுத்து மிகுந்த சந்தோஷத்தில் இருக்கிறாராம் விஜய்.

Following the box office success of Velayutham in about 800 centers, Vijay fans have tonsured their heads at the Vadapalani Murugan Temple and then took a procession to the Kamala Theatre where the film's screening began from yesterday.

Vijay fans, including both men and women, were seen carrying milk pots and Kavadi on their heads and headed straight to the Kamala Theatre from the temple. They performed 'Pal Abhishekam' on the vinyl banners which had Vijay's photos placed at the theatres.

This event was organized by the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam's G Bhaskar, R Raviraja, C Rajendran, AC Kumar and PRO PT Selva Kumar.

வேலாயுதம் படக்குழுவினருக்கு நடிகர் விஜய் விருந்து

 

 

 

விஜய், ஹன்சிகா, ஜெனிலியா நடித்த "வேலாயுதம்" படம் தீபாவளிக்கு ரிலீசாகி ஓடிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது. இப்படம் தமிழகமெங்கும் வெற்றிகரமாக ஓடுவதாக விஜய் தெரிவித்தார். கேரளாவில் அதிக பிரிண்ட்களுடன் கூடுதல் தியேட்டர்களில் திரையிடப்பட்டு உள்ளன.உலகம் முழுவதும் சுமார் 830 திரையரங்குகளில் திரையிடப்பட்டு உள்ளது.

இப்படம் முதல் ஐந்து நாட்களில் ரூ.40 கோடி வசூல் ஈட்டியதாக கூறப்படுகிறது. "வேலாயுதம்" வெற்றி பெற்றதற்காக விஜய் தனது வீட்டில் அப்படக்குழுவினருக்கு விசேஷ விருந்து அளித்தார்.

இதில் இயக்குனர் ராஜா, இசை அமைப்பாளர் விஜய் ஆண்டனி உள்ளிட்ட பலர் பங்கேற்றனர்."வேலாயுதம்" படத்தின் கதை விவாதத்தில் கலந்து கொண்ட நடிகர் ஜெயம்ரவியும் விருந்துக்கு வந்திருந்தார்.

தமிழகம் முழுவதும் "வேலாயுதம்" படம் திரையிடப்படும் தியேட்டர்கள் எண்ணிக்கை கூடியுள்ளது. சென்னை வடபழனியில் 7 ஆம் அறிவு படம் திரையிடப்பட்ட கமலா தியேட்டரில் தற்போது வேலாயுதம் படம் திரையிடப்பட்டு உள்ளது. அத்தியேட்டருக்கு விஜய் ரசிகர்கள் வடபழனி கோவிலில் மொட்டை அடித்து விட்டு ஊர்வலமாக வந்து படம் பார்த்தனர். பால் குட ஊர்வலமும் நடந்தது. இயக்குனர் ராஜாவும் அத் தியேட்டரில் ரசிகர்களுடன் படம் பார்த்தார்.
