விஜய் விக்ராந்தின் பாட்டி மரணம்

 

ஷோபா சந்திரசேகரனின் அம்மாவும் விஜய்யின் பாட்டியுமான லலிதா நீலகண்டன் இன்று சென்னையில் காலமானார். அவருக்கு வயது 80.

லலிதா நீலகண்டனின் பெயரில் படத்தயாரிப்பு நிறுவனம் நடத்தி, பல படங்களைத் தயாரித்துள்ளனர். அவற்றை பெரும்பாலும் லலிதாவின் மருமகன் எஸ்ஏ சந்திரசேகரனே இயக்கினார்.

லலிதா நீலகண்டனுக்கு இரண்டு மகன்கள். பாடகரும் நடிகருமான எஸ் என் சுரேந்தர் மற்றும் சுந்தர். இரண்டு மகள்கள் ஷோபா சந்திரசேகரன் மற்றும் ஷீலா. ஷோபாவின் மகன் நடிகர் விஜய். ஷீலாவின் மகன் நடிகர் விக்ராந்த்.

பாட்டி மீது மிகுந்த பாசமாக இருந்தார் விஜய். மகள் ஷோபா- மருமகன் சந்திரசேரனுடன் வசித்து வந்த லலிதா நீலகண்டனுக்கு நேற்று நெஞ்சுவலி வந்தது. அவரை விஜயா மருத்துவமனையில் சேர்த்து சிகிச்சை அளித்தனர். ஆனால் இன்று காலை அவர் மரணமடைந்தார்.

அவருக்கு நுங்கம்பாக்கம் தெரஸா சர்ச்சில் பிரார்த்தனை நடத்தப்பட்டது. மாலையில் கீழ்ப்பாக்கம் கல்லறைத் தோட்டத்தில் அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டது. லலிதா நீலகண்டனுக்கு விஜய் ரசிகர்கள், திரையுலகினர் ஏராளமானோர் அஞ்சலி செலுத்தினர்.

சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினி பெயரில் இந்த ஆண்டு விஜய்க்கு விருது வழங்கியுள்ளனர்.

எடிசன் விருது வழங்கும் விழா கடந்த ஞாயிறன்று சென்னையில் நடந்தது. விழாவில் ஏராளமான சினிமா நட்சத்திரங்கள் பங்கேற்றனர்.

ரஜினி மகள் ஐஸ்வர்யா தனுஷ், நடிகர்கள் ஜெயம் ரவி, ராகவா லாரன்ஸ், ஆர்கே, பேபி சாரா, கோவை சரளா, மயக்கம் என்ன நாயகி ரிச்சா கங்கோபாத்யாயா, இனியா, லட்சுமிராய், லட்சுமி ராமகிருஷ்ணன், உள்பட ஏராளமானோர் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

சிறந்த பாடலாசிரியர் விருது நா முத்துகுமாருக்கும், இசையமைப்பாளர் விருது ஹாரிஸ் ஜெயராஜுக்கும் வழங்கப்பட்டது.

இந்த விருது விழாவில், விஜய் தன் படங்களில் ரஜினி பற்றிப் பேசி ரசிகர்களிடம் கைத்தட்டல் வாங்கிய காட்சிகளைக் காட்டினர். பின்னர் ரஜினி விருதினை அவருக்கு வழங்குவதாக அறிவித்தனர்.

விருதினைப் பெற்றுக் கொண்ட விஜய், ரசிகர்களை ஆஹா ஓஹோவெனப் பாராட்டினார். நண்பன் படத்திலிருந்து ஒரு பாட்டுப் பாடினார்.

எல்லாம் முடிந்ததும், 'சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினி அவார்டு வாங்கியிருக்கீங்க… அவரைப் பற்றி பேசுங்கள்' என நிகழ்ச்சித் தொகுப்பாளர் சிட்டி பாபு கேட்க (மகா சொதப்பல்), விஜய் ஒன்றுமே பேசவில்லை. மீண்டும் மீண்டும் பேசச் சொன்னபோது, சற்று நேரம் மவுனமாக நின்றுவிட்டு, "வரேன்!" என்று கூறிச் சென்றார்.

அடுத்த விநாடி, வந்திருந்த ரசிகர்களில் ஒருவர் எழுப்பிய குரல் இது: "முதல் வருசமே இப்படியா? அடுத்த வருசமாவது பொருத்தமானவங்களுக்கு கொடுங்கப்பப்பா"!

Malayalam actor Jayaram signs Vijay’s Thupaki

 

Malayalam actor Jayaram, who had done a cameo in Ponner Shankar, is all set to make his comeback to Tamil films. Well, he has been signed to play an important role in Vijay's upcoming Tamil movie Thupaki.

Speaking to a leading daily, Jayaram has confirmed that he has been rope in to to act in Thupaki. He claims that director AR Murugadoss' script, which has scope for his character too, impressed him a lot. The actor is gearing up to start the shooting, which has been delayed due to the ongoing strike in the Kollywood.

However, AR Murgadoss directorial Thupaki also features Kajal Aggarwal. The movie is produced by S Thanu and distributed by Gemini Film Circuit. It has Harris Jayaraj's music and Santhosh Sivan's cinematography.

Vijay Won best Actor award

 

Actor Vijay has been adjudged the best for his performance in Velayudham at the 5th Edition of the Edison awards in Chennai recently.

Richa Gangopadhyaya won the female artiste award for best debut for her performance in Mayakkam Enna.
Among the other awards were Premgi Amaren for his comic role in Mankatha, Raghava Lawrence was given his best in Kanchana.

Saravanan won an award for best debut director for his film Engeyum Eppothum and Shanthakumar won the best screenplay award for Mounaguru.

It seems such awards will give fillip to the industry men who are in the midst of a strike like situation after the wage row between FEFSI and Producers Council has halted all shootings.
