Along with Ajith's Veeram, Vijay's Jilla would be releasing on Pongal in about five weeks' time from now. After many years, the two top stars are clashing at the box-office. It was reported in sections of the press that Vijay had been shooting in Pollachi, which he considers to be a very 'lucky' location, for the past few days for the inaugural song in Jilla. The song, which is conceived in a grand manner by debutant director Nesan, has been sung by legendary playback singer S.P. Balasumbramniam and Shankar Mahadevan. Vijay, who arrived in Coimbatore yesterday, has started to shoot for the song and some patch-up work from this morning at Kallapuram, Polachi. Earlier, Vijay's fans accorded a grand welcome to their favourite hero. It is given to understand that the film's shoot would be wrapped up within the next 2-3 days. Besides the lead pair of Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal, Jilla has Malayalam megastar Mohanlal in a prominent role. Poornima Bhagyaraj and Mahat are essaying significant roles in the film which has music by D. Imman. Produced by R. B. Choudhary, the film's audio launch has been scheduled to be held over the next weekend. Choudharay is said to be very happy due to the fact that the film's release and distribution rights in all the zones had been sold at high prices!
